From macro to micro concepts: representativeness of our team game principles

Long gone are the times where the tactics in football were limited to the 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Today, tactic is understood by the relation between the game principles that give an identity to a team.

Although the game system is important to define some dynamics, general and specific game principles must subsist despite the distribution of our players on the field.
The representative principles, associated with the "how", are concrete actions that players must develop in the field and that make each "way of playing" different.

With Coach ID app, each coach can set up his own favorite playing system and characterize the game principles.

In the previous example, to the specific principle of "DEFENSIVE COVERAGE WHEN DEFENDING NEAR OUR GOAL" we can define as a representative action: "If the ball is in the corridor, our defensive midfielder approaches in order to cover the fullback. This way we do not expose our CB´s, keeping them in a position to protect the goal".

To show how to train this particular behaviour we can after add an exercise created with Coach ID app (exercise editor) and/or add a video that shows the exercise in practice.

More than just an app, Coach ID is an educational platform that drives football coaches through the path of organization. And an organized coach that knows exactly what he wants from his team will definitively be a better coach!
